Toddler Fun Friday is open once again! Share your favorite activities and crafts for toddlers. We always love reading your posts, especially during this time of the year when the shares have been so festive. The Christmas spirit is still so much alive in our house. But in the midst of the gifts, gatherings and Christmas decor, we’ve also been bringing the kids’ focus back to why we celebrate Christmas. Because of this, we started reading this book: 24 Christmas Stories to Welcome Jesus. Each day, from December 1, the kids and I read a 2-3 page short story that helps us prepare for the birth of Jesus. The first week of December may very well be over, but this will make a beautiful Christmas gift for young families. We plan to make this a tradition, to read it every year, because the stories never get old.
The kids have also been busy creating Christmas crafts, such as this Recycled Magazine Christmas Tree.
We’d also like to share a cute gift idea for kids’ classmates and friends. These Reindeer Noses bags are a hit. Click on to get the free printable bag topper.
On to our favorite from last week’s link up. Stories to prepare us for the coming of Jesus, Christmas trees and Reindeers. What else reminds us of Christmas? Santa! So for this week, we chose these Santa Handprints by Teacher by Trade, Mother by Nature.
Thanks to all those who continually share their posts with us every week!
